My Best Fashion Buys Of All Time

We’re all guilty of impulse buying and splurging clothes we know we’ll only wear once, if ever. With a wardrobe fit to burst, I know I have. But in my time, I’ve also made some amazingly wise purchases that I’m still loving today. Those staple wardrobe pieces that you find yourself reaching for again and again are the best kind of buys. Here’s some of my all time favourite fashion purchases that I can never see myself becoming sick of.

Boohoo Alia PU Trim Parka

I purchased this khaki parka jacket from Boohoo over two years ago and I still wear it almost everyday. It goes with absolutely everything, it’s cosy and perfect for college. It’s fully lined, complete with pockets and a big furry hood, I’d be lost without it during the colder months. If you’re on the hunt for a cosy jacket, I can’t recommend the parka enough. Obviously because I bought this one in 2013, it’s no longer in stock, however, I’ve found a few similar styles and left links to the below.–jackets/Khaki-faux-fur-collar-parka-jacket-659406

River Island Lana Ripped Skinny Jeans Black

I adore ripped skinny jeans and you’ll rarely see me out of these River Island ones. I find it hard to get jeans to fit me properly, Penneys and New Look ones always get too loose on me after a couple of wears. However, RI jeans always fit perfectly and last me so long. I bought these ones about 6 months ago and they’re a major staple in my wardrobe ever since. Whether it’s for college, shopping or a night out, they never let me down. This particular pair are no longer available but there’s a really similar pair, also River Island available to buy HERE;

Carvela by Kurt Geiger Leopard Suede Flats

These are probably the best footwear investment I’ve ever made. I got these Carvela KG beauties form ASOS in a sale about 6 months ago. They RRP at 176 but I got them for just 39, amazing bargain! They’re incredibly comfortable and of the highest quality, I wear them almost every day for college and often at the weekends too. Having at least one pair of quality designer shoes in your wardrobe will totally transform it, but try to make it a pair you’ll get loads of wear out of. You can buy a similar pair, also KG, HERE;

Pia Michi White & Gold Sequin Ball Gown

I’ll never fall out of love with my Debs dress. Ever. It’s a Pia Michi gown, a designer that specialises in couture, red carpet style designer dresses. It’s the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen and I really hope I get to wear it again, but even if I don’t, I’ll still enjoy looking at it in my wardrobe every once in a while. Pia Michi dresses are all so stunning, perfect for a Debs, wedding, ball or awards ceremony. You can shop the collection HERE;

H&M Tan Chelsea Boots

Another one of my favourite footwear buys is these Chelsea boots from H&M. I got them for just 24 a couple of months ago and they’re really seeing me through the winter. They’re still available HERE on the UK H&M website, but I don’t think you can buy online from Ireland. You could probably try in store though, I got these in the Opera Lane Cork shop.

Penneys Faux Snake Skin Bag

Last but certainly not least is my beloved Penneys bag. For Primark, the quality is amazing and it’s so spacious, ideal for college. A big bag is a must have in every wardrobe, Penneys always have fab ones, along with H&M and New Look, usually for 30 or less.

    Nice post!
    May I ask if these brown cheksea boots from H &m are comfortable and are they warm enough for winter?
